Who And What Is Dreamstreet? About Dream Street
About Dreamstreet

Boundaries are being broken with the forthcoming summer release of Lava/Atlantic Records vocal group Dream Street. As seasoned veterans of stage, screen (big & small), and national TV commercials- all before they even reach high school- it is now time for these five boys to add the title of recording artists to that impressive list of achievements.
Their unique experiences in entertainment create a whirlwind of talent that is seemingly unstoppable…
Jesse McCartney, the youngest of the bunch at 15 years old- currently portrays Adam Chandler, Jr. on ABC daytime soap opera, All My Children. Jesse was also the young Scrooge in A Christmas Carol with Roger Daltrey at Madison Square Garden and is featured in national commercials such as K-Mart and Loews Cinemas. He is classically trained in both voice and acting from his industry veteran parents
Matt Ballinger,, 16 years old, wants to be an investment banker when he grows up. In the meantime, he is already a Broadway veteran with features in The Sound of Music, The King and I, and A Christmas Carol. He has appeared on The Rosie O'Donnell Show, The NBC Today Show and the 1998 Tony Awards. You can hear his voice on national commercials and jingles such as Nickelodeon’s Blues Clues, AT&T, Dannon Yogurt, and Sudafed.
Frankie J. Galasso, also 17 years old, has appeared on the CBS soap opera As The World Turns and was Tony Danza’s son on the ABC sitcom, Hudson Street. Frankie also starred in the motion picture Jungle To Jungle with Martin Short and Tim Allen. His theatre experience includes An Inspector Calls, Oliver, and Bye Bye Birdie. His favorite sport is baseball (next to paintball that is), so he was extremely excited to sing the Star Spangled Banner before a Dodgers/Mets game.
Christopher Trousdale, , 16 years old, has appeared on Broadway in The Sound Of Music and Les Miserables, to name just a couple. His television credits include Saturday Night Live, The David Letterman Show, and The Conan O’Brien Show. He appeared in the HBO movie Manafesto and performed with Jewel on her 1999 release Joy:A Holiday Collection. His voice- overs on national commercials include Johnson & Johnson, Buick, and just about anything Mattel. In addition to his voice and acting training, Christopher has been taking tap, jazz, ballet and gymnastics since he could walk.
Greg Raposo, , 17 years old, was the only child invited by Pricilla Presley to perform at Graceland for the 20th Anniversary of Elvis’ death. His numerous theater credits include Broadway Kids, Pincocchio, The Nutcracker, Snow White as well as the Children’s Letters To God cast album. He has appeared in national commercials for Crest, Ford, & Kit Kat. Greg has played guitar since the ripe old age of 6, drums since he was 8, and his very own CD is available on his website.
All from the New York area, these five boys came together a year ago with the help of producers Louis Baldonieri and Brian Lukow to try to achieve their dream of becoming pop superstars. Working with the songwriting and production team of Cosgrove/Clark (whose previous hits include Jennifer Paige’s Crush and Lava/Atlantic artist Angela Via’s new hit Picture Perfect), Dream Street has put together a smashing debut of pop-til-you-drop tunes. Also included in that is the group’s first single, It Happens Every Time, written and produced by Jorgen Eloffson, whose previous work includes the #1 smash hits Sometimes and Crazy by Britney Spears. Look for this self-titled album in stores this fall. When you see Dream Street live, you’ll quickly realize that their choreography is unlike any other pop group out there today. It’s a dynamic combination of Broadway and hip-hop dance, straight from the incredibly creative mind of Brazilian-born dance choreographer Claudia Swan. As the boys continue to rehearse amidst school and other activities, they look forward to what all kids look forward to each year- summer vacation! Of course, their "What I Did This Summer" essays should prove to be more interesting than any other kid in school.
       Five incredibly talented boys.
       One very large dream.
